Full screen

Full screen is a term commonly used to describe games or programs which are maximised to fit the full monitor screen. It is the opposite to 'windowed-mode'.
Advantages of Full Screen
Fullscreen mode has many advantages, mostly revolving around these main ones:
- Full-screen mode seems to immerse the player much more into the game universe
- Mouse capture is much more acceptable if the game runs fullscreen
Disadvantages of Full Screen mode
The disadvantages of Full Screen mode include:
- Unless the game was designed with fullscreen mode in mind, the view of the game will be stretched to fit the screen, so graphics which may have looked good can be changed dramatically.
