Media player

A media player is a piece of software that can be used to play digital media: audio and video. Some well-known media players are Windows Media Player, Winamp and RealPlayer.
Most media players have some typical features:
- media library: a database that stores songs and information about them
- playlist: the list containing the files that are played
- visualizations: visual representations of the music that is played
