Storyline

A 'Storyline' in a game is how the story told by the game progresses throughout the players quest.
A storyline can be as simple as a rabbit who lost his carrot, or as in-depth as Final Fantasy or another commercial game. Storylines can often branch into smaller less important stories, that maybe get connected as the game progresses. Storylines can be very effective in games, as they give the player something think about and maybe relate to.
