Title
The title of the book may seem a little odd at first look. Its meaning is explained several times:
"the player is your apprentice and a good game designer uses their level designs to teach the player how to master the game."
Which means that the player is the game designer's apprentice. As a game designer, the player is your friend, and your job is to help them!
