This is a list of common problems sharing a game on Yoyo Games.

Game title issues

If your game will not publish, it could be the game's name is a duplicate of another game. The best way to confirm this is to search for your game name on Yoyo Games.

If you find a game with the same name, then you know you need to obviously choose another name. If there is still a problem or there is no other game with your name, ask the YoYo Games Helpdesk

Game image upload issues

This problem is easy to solve. If you have added only one image and you did not add in another image, you will need to take another screenshot and upload it into the other slot.

If this still doesn't fix the problem, check to see if one or more of your images are lower than 50 x 90 inches. If they are, try re-sizing your image or images. If your images are over that amount, you may need to contact YoYo Games via the Helpdesk

Game file issues

1. Your game is not an EXE file type. To make your games EXE's, click File in Game Maker, then select to save it as an executable, then upload the executable.

2. Your game contains a virus. Before uploading game, always check your game with a virus scanner. Uploading a game with a virus could get you ip-banned.
